  • Waste sorting encompasses up to 35 categories, with 32 dedicated to recycling, significantly increasing the recycling and composting rates and ensuring resources are properly reused.

  • Taipei 101 Garbage Chute System: A vertical waste disposal system compacts non-recyclable waste to a third of its size through crushing, draining, and compacting processes.

  • Unused hangers from shopping center tenants are provided to dry cleaners in the building for reuse.

  • The initiative promotes the cycle of room decor and green building materials, setting stringent processes from interior decoration to the disposal of renovation waste, reducing construction waste generation.

  • The renovation manual sets green material standards and promotes recyclable room decor (renting instead of buying), reducing waste from dismantling when offices are vacated.

  • Posters in restrooms encourage proper disposal of toilet paper to reduce the amount of domestic waste produced.
